  • Where do I pick up and drop off the car?

    The best part of our service – we come to you. No waiting in lines at a car rental office – we’ll deliver your hire car to your accommodation and pick it up when you’re finished. This is a complimentary offering and one our guest love!

  • Why can’t we pick up/drop off at Proserpine Airport?

    Our business cannot be accommodated at this location, hence why we promote the option of the shared shuttle service, which is a 20% discount applied with Heart of Reef Shuttles, if you book a rental car with us. We'll then deliver your hire car straight to your door, on the date and time you’ve requested.

  • Do you provide child seats?

    Yes! We offer fitted child seats for all ages for $12.50 per day. If booking online, please select your seat type via the booking platform.

  • Where can we drive the rental car?

    Anywhere in the Whitsunday region on sealed roads – including Airlie Beach, Proserpine, Shute Harbour, Cannonvale & Bowen. If you would like to drive further afield, we can discuss with you upon booking.

  • Are there places that you do not drop off/pick up from.

    Our coverage is listed on our website on the booking page and also our area map for your perusal, however we can be flexible with this and would be happy to discuss it further at the time of booking.

  • Can we have a different drop off and pick up location?

    Yes, you can. Please indicate this upon booking.

  • Do you have larger cars for big groups?

    Absolutely. Our fleet includes 3 vehicles suited for large groups:

    • 2x Toyota Taragos (8-seaters)
    • 1x Toyota Estima (7-seater)

    Perfect for families, wedding parties, and event rentals.

  • What is the minimum rental period?

    Our standard car hire period is 2 days; however, we may be able to offer a 24-hour booking depending on vehicle availability. Please call our team on 0466 280 815 to enquire.

  • Do you offer $0 excess?

    Yes, we do! Our rental cars are fully insured if the incident is not your fault, and you can upgrade to our premium cover for zero excess for ultimate peace of mind. See details below:

    Drivers 25 – 80 years:

    • Standard excess: $2,500
    • Reduce to $1,000 for an extra $35/day
    • Reduce to $0 for an extra $45/day

    Drivers 21 – 25 years:

    • Standard excess: $3,500
    • Excess reduction is not available for this age group

    If an incident is your fault, the excess payable is up to the amounts listed above, depending on your age and any excess-reduction option you’ve selected.

  • What documents do I need to hire a car?

    You’ll need a valid full driver’s license (valid for at least 12 months) and a valid credit card. International Driver licences are accepted on "face value" but must be in English, or if not in English, the renter must have an English translation thereof. If the licence is not in English, an International Drivers Licence is required.

  • What fuel policy do you have?

    All our vehicles come with a full tank of fuel. Please return the car full to avoid extra refuelling charges.

  • Can I add extra drivers?

    Absolutely. Additional drivers can be added free of charge. All drivers must meet the same licensing requirements as the main driver.

  • What if I get a flat tyre or have a breakdown?

    Don’t worry! Our team are located around the Whitsunday region, so in the event of a breakdown, just call us directly and we will endeavour to attend to the situation in person, as soon as we can. Please note, we may not be able to solve any mental breakdowns, only mechanical. ;)

  • Are there any hidden fees?

    No. Our T&C's and info on our booking platform are very transparent. The costs consist only of - car rental charge, fuel usage, optional excess reduction charges and a security bond of $500 (this is not deducted at time of payment).

  • What is there to do in the Whitsundays?

    We provide all our guests with a local knowledge info guide, detailing all the best places to eat, drink and explore around the Whitsundays, including some of our favourites. 

We set about opening this business in 2022 with the aim to make the guest experience honest, friendly, fun, and transparent, so it feels like you’re borrowing a car from a neighbour, not a rental counter.

WHAT SETS US APART
We want our guests to see us as someone they can befriend from the very start of their journey. Trust us to do the right thing by them for their holiday here in the Whitsundays. We even offer free drop-offs and pick-ups to make the process more personal.

OUR STRENGTHS
We keep our process very simple and straightforward so our guests can remain in holiday mode instead of being distracted with do’s and dont’s.

We can be very flexible and will happily work with guests to make their time in the Whitsundays even better. They are always in direct contact with the decision owners of the business.
